Jenna Elfman, best known for her peace-loving character Dharma Freedom Finkelstein Montgomery on the hit ABC comedy Dharma and Greg, has signed a deal with Twentieth Century Fox Television. Elfman is such a sure thing in the business, the studio doesn’t even know what her next show is going to be about. Elfman just started meeting with potential writers to discuss possible dramatic and/or comedic plots.
Elfman has been in tons of TV shows since Dharma and Greg including Damages, Two and a Half Men, 1600 Penn, The Mindy Project, Growing Up Fisher, but many don’t know that she began her professional careers as a dancer. She’s starred in music videos for Depeche Mode (Halo, Strange Too), Anthrax (Black Lodge), and Chris Isaak (Somebody’s Crying). Back in the day, she toured with ZZ Top as their “Legs Girl.” As the song Legs goes, “She never begs / she knows how to choose them.”
