Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling has been sending cryptic messages via her Twitter account. She’s usually very active in the tweeting department but in recent weeks she’s been quiet. Well she returned this week to tell her 3.74 million followers that she’s been busy working on a screenplay, which everyone assumes is the Potter spinoff Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, which features explorer Newt Scamander.
Fantastic Beast is Rowling’s first try at writing a screenplay, which is expected to be the start of a trilogy with a November 2016 release. While working on the screenplay, Rowling tweeted this: “Cry, foe! Run amok! Fa awry! My wand won’t tolerate this nonsense.” Either she has Newt writing another textbook that wizards must read in school or Rowling has finally lost her mind in the world of wizardry.
