Actress Kat Dennings (2 Broke Girls) and singer Josh Groban stepped out together this week at a charity event in Los Angeles, confirming that they are dating. Groban has a big Christian fan base ever since he recorded the popular Christmas album, Noël, with the London Symphony Orchestra in 2007, and wowed everyone with the song The Prayer at the Emmys. But he’s not 100% Christian. Yes, he was raised going to Episcopalian Church services but his father was Jewish — he converted to Christianity to marry Groban’s mother.
Kat Dennings says she’s “a billion percent Jewish” but says religion is a non-issue. She explained to the Jewish Journal: “[Judaism] is an important part of my history, but, as a whole, religion is not a part of my life. It’s a background thing, but I’m proud to be Jewish.”
