The actress Aubrey Plaza (Parks and Recreation) was interviewed by The New York Times and asked to describe her latest film, About Alex. She said of herself, “I can barely put sentences together.” But she tried. She described About Alex as a bunch of friends who go into the woods — some have sex, some fight. And then they realize the only thing that matters is love. And, oh yeah, the Internet is evil.
Her next film is Life After Beth, in which the sentence-challenged Aubrey Plaza she plays a zombie. For the role she said she’s didn’t prepare at all. The only moment in the interview where she seemed careful to “put sentences together” is when she was asked about her “BFF” About Alex co-star Anna Kendrick. Plaza said very clearly: “We have a mutual respect for each other, professionally and personally. And we’re also sexually attracted to each other.” The only other thing Plaza admits to in the interview is being “the worst interview guest ever.”
