In anticipation of The Sims 4 release on September 4, 2014, Electronic Arts is posting a number of trailers so gamers can get a sense of the new characters. Players of The Sims 4 will be able to craft their own stories using a new batch of weird characters. Weird in a good, goofy way.
One woman is obsessed with working out and wood. She’s a prolific woodcarver who produces rooms full of wooden animal sculptures, musical instruments–even her toilet is made of wood. Then there’s Ned, a skilled gardener who grows a cow plant with teeth and udders and all. Reminsicent of that Venus Flytrap in The Little Shop of Horrors. But perhaps the character that is most worthy of a Saturday Night Live parody is Amber. She’s like a happy Debbie Downer. The chunky girl next door who likes to paint and hack computers, also prides herself on scrubing toilets right after they’re used.
