The publisher Penguin is seeking creative types to contribute to a unique digital page-for-page companion to its book And the Mountains Echoed by Khaled Hosseini. The Echo Project is a living, breathing work of interactive art inspired by the novel. In all there will be 421 pages of digital art to go with the novel’s 421 pages. Readers can contribute to the interactive experience with video, photographs, paintings, drawings, sound-files–practically any way they are inspired by the book.
Contributors so far include authors Neil Pasricha and Will Ferguson. If you’re interested, send an email to [email protected] or follow #echoproject on Twitter.
