The first look at Josh Brolin as Thanos didn’t disappoint. Thanos isn’t going to be a big part of the Guardians of the Galaxy when it’s unleashed this weekend, but he’s got a serious future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe according to recent comments by Marvel chief Kevin Feige. (It was suggested that when Thanos gets his own movie it’s going to be a “big deal.” Feige: “Right. I’m glad it feels that way.”)
Brolin is bringing more than just his voice to the character, says Feige. With the new technology the actors embodying the CGI have a powerful influence over every aspect of their characters–especially the way they comport themselves and how the face moves and reacts. The Mad Titan will have plenty of Brolin in him.
