Paramount Pictures will take over Hall H (the biggest hall at Comic Con) for an hour on Thursday for a presentation that’s believed to be focused on Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles as well as their other upcoming films. A Michael Bay film, TMNT will be released August 8. Stars Will Arnett and Megan Fox are rumored to be in on the panel, and some sneak peek footage is expected. But an hour presentation on a movie most everyone already knows about? The studio must have some serious surprises in store.
Christopher Nolan may make a surprise appearance to promote his upcoming film Interstellar. Interstellar’s plot has been kept mostly under wraps and an appearance by Nolan–seen as almost a god in Comic Con world–would definitely amp up the presentation. There were murmurs that Paramount would shy away from an Interstellar appearance to keep from comparisons to Gravity, but that argument doesn’t hold considering Gravity won an Oscar. Paramount might also show footage from its upcoming Terminator: Genesis. The Terminator franchise seemed dead after Terminator: Salvation and with all the time travel plot elements it’s unclear right now what the franchise has in store—minus the return of Arnold Schwarzenegger. A reveal tomorrow would clear things up immensely.
