Mr. Nice isn’t afraid to piss people off. Duncan Carson (aka Mr. Nice on Twitter) owns the company Ban T-shirts which makes political statements on tees without sacrificing style. Shirts like “There is a special place in hell for bankers” and “Illegal immigration started in 1492” and “Ban homophobic marriage” are provocative and provoking anger. Mr. Nice receives so much hate mail that he takes pride in it. He lists his favorites on the website. One man wrote “Kiss my royal Republican ass…” and another “good Christian” wrote: “I hope one day something horrible happens to you and you must be rushed to the nearest hospital.”
But Mr. Nice is an equal opportunity offender. The t-shirt that has inspired most of the haters is black with a red heart containing words and phrases like spineless, dummocrat, un-American, godless, freedom hating commie, unpatriotic, and whining liberal cry baby. All Ban T-Shirt designs are printed on American-made sweatshop-free shirts in the blue state of Connecticut.
