On Hotel Hell, celeb chef Gordon Ramsay visits the scenic resort town of Chelan, Washington. There he meets the owners of Lakeview Hotel, Brent and Afni MacDonald. Ramsay is there to help turn the hotel around but he’s met with opposition from Brent. The day before the episode premieres on FOX (June 21, 8pm), Brent MacDonald says it was all an act. He said he and his wife “played the part,” knowing the show was looking for drama.
“I threw my wife under the bus,” Brent admitted. “I know I am going to be painted as a bad guy.” When his wife Afni saw the trailer for the show he said she freaked out. “We should have known better,” Brent said. “They owned us.” Hotel Hell airs Tuesdays at 8pm on FOX.
