Fashion model Lily Aldridge is in the news for starring in The Victoria’s Secret Swim Special which will air on March 9 (9pm, CBS). She and a group of fellow supermodels will be featured in the hour-long, Sports Illustrated-esque “photo shoot” show which was filmed on the island of St. Barth’s in the French West Indies.
Lily Aldridge isn’t the only model in the family. Her sisters Saffron and Ruby are models, and her brother Miles is a fashion photographer who was married to model Kristen McMenamy. Their gorgeous genes can be tracked back to Lily’s mother, Laura Lyons, who was a Playboy Playmate in 1976. Lily’s father is graphic designer Alan Aldridge. He’s known for designing sci-fi book covers, movie posters (Andy Warhol’s “Chelsea Girls“), album covers (“A Quick One” by The Who), books (The Beatles Illustrated Lyrics), and the iconic Hard Rock Café logo. His work is featured in the coffee table book: The Man with Kaleidoscope Eyes: The Art of Alan Aldridge.
