Ryan’s dad, aka chestypants12 on Reddit, was called out by Ryan’s teacher for doing his son’s homework. The teacher posted a photo of Ryan’s returned homework sheet. The assignment was to find words in scrambled letters. 9-year-old “Ryan” found the word appraised in “eapairpsd.” Even though the teacher was looking for the word “disappear” she gave Ryan’s dad credit. “Well done finding appraised, Ryan’s Dad!” she wrote in red pen. Chestypants admits to getting that ‘sinking feeling’ for a second when he read it. “Teachers have that power,” he wrote.
So how did the teacher know? Chestypants12 reports that Ryan told her. Dad hasn’t met the teacher yet “but judging by the rest of them, she could be a honey. I’ll imagine her that way until I find out for sure. I’m a dirty-minded optimist.”
