Marie Forleo, entrepreneur to budding entrepreneurs, is a Jersey-born gem who—for a small fee—teaches game women how to get what they all deserve: love and disposable income. Or as she puts it, make them Rich, Happy and Hot. (It’s a trademark.) Magically packing the energy of an entire college cheerleading squad into her petite chassis, Forleo offers a similarly compacted, energized version of “B-School” that takes only eight weeks online! Take that, slowpoke Harvard MBAs, Wharton slackers. Forleo says jump, and a worldwide sorority of soon-tycoons asks how high? The Marie Forleo brand is all about empowerment. Economic, to be sure, but emotional, too. You’ll need to feel good, after all, when you’re spending all that money.
Tony Robbins and Richard Branson have her back. Her website says she’s got devotees in 188 countries. People, presumably not compensated, write things online like this: “So I struggled through the day . . . until I received an email from Marie Forleo… And then everything shifted. Let me explain. . .Marie Forleo is amazing.” (One suspects Forleo is also now selling ellipses.) Everything shifted! With just an email. That’s…empowerment.
