Stand-up comedian Chelsea Handler is a Jersey Girl. The 48-year-old was born and raised in the town of Livingston, also the birthplace of former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie, who is currently running for the Republican presidential ticket.
Handler — a well-known Democrat — shares something else in common with Christie: both are fans of Bruce Springsteen. AKA, The Boss.
While in London, Handler caught the Springsteen show and got behind the VIP bar. As seen in the photo dump below, Handler partied with power couples Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom, and Judd Apatow and Leslie Mann. Keep swiping and you’ll see Emma Thompson (Slide #3), and 2004 Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry (Slide #9).
Handler captioned the photo series: “I bartended the Springsteen show last night, and it felt incredible to be of service. I Love London, but no one is as lovable than Bruce Springsteen. What a ducking show!”
More than one of Handler’s fans replied with surprise in seeing Kerry — as one replied: “Was not expecting John Kerry in the photodump.”
