Get ready to see and hear more of R&B singer and songwriter Ashanti. Yes, it’s been nine years since the Grammy Award winner released an album (Braveheart, 2014) but the 42-year-old is keeping busy with live performances.
As seen below, Ashanti turned heads in Las Vegas where she performed in a leopard-print bodysuit with a plunging neckline, matching thigh-high stiletto boots and fishnets. She captioned the series — including the photo of her crossing her legs in her dressing room — “Showtime.”
Ashanti’s fans are going wild over the skintight ensemble and her curves. As one replied: “Sissss! Show’m what a natural body look like.” Another chimed in: “Stopping traffic with that last slide🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍😍😍😍😍😍sheeessshhhhhh.” Be sure to swipe — Ashanti reveals the thong side of that bodysuit on stage.
As seen in the video below, during her show at the Palms, Nelly appeared on stage and they performed together. (Ashanti and Nelly were in a relationship for 10 years before they broke up in 2013. Now, 10 years later, it’s been reported that the two are back together.)

And fans will see Ashanti next on the big screen in the upcoming movie about homelessness, No Address, with William “Billy” Baldwin (Flatliners, Backdraft). Ashanti plays a homeless Iraq War veteran who suffers from PTSD and has turned to drugs.
Beverly D’Angelo (National Lampoon’s Family Vacation) and Ty Pennington (Extreme Makeover: Home Edition), also star. No Address is expected to be released in Winter 2023.
