When not playing NCIS Special Agent in Charge Jane Tennent on the new spin-off NCIS: Hawai’i, actress Vanessa Lachey is enjoying what the Big Island has to offer with her family.
When Lachey dropped the photo below, of her rocking a bikini in an exposed swimming pool, she captioned it: “Hello Summer!” Her fans are going wild over the “insane shot!”
Lachey’s husband, former 98 Degrees boy band member Nick Lachey, replied: “Damn, that is one talented photographer. Look at the symmetry!!!” Vanessa replied to his not-so-subtle photo credit comment with more banter: “Yup, you CAN teach an old dog new tricks! 😏.”

Get ready to see more of Vanessa Lachey. Not only did NCIS: Hawai’i get renewed for a third season but the show also gained NCIS: Los Angeles character Sam Hanna (LL Cool J) as a recurring guest star. (NCIS: LA ended earlier this year after 14 seasons.)
Don’t worry East Coast rap fans: before LL Cool J settles into his new digs in Hawai’i, he’ll be in his old neighborhood (in Queens, New York) where he’ll perform at the Rock the Bells Festival on August 5. Ludacris, Queen Latifah, and Swizz Beatz are headlining, too.
