Dancer/actress/model Jenna Dewan currently stars in the ABC series The Rookie with Nathan Fillion (Castle). Before landing role of Fillion’s love interest on The Rookie, Dewan was the host of Jennifer Lopez‘s dance competition TV series World of Dance with JLo, Ne-Yo, and Dancing with the Stars pro Derek Hough as judges.
When Dewan left the show, dancer/choreographer Stephen “tWitch” Boss (Ellen) took her place.
The Hollywood dance community is a tight-knit one, as seen in the photos below at the annual awards ceremony hosted by National Alliance of Mental Illness (NAMI) Westside Los Angeles.
Dewan honored the legacy of Boss, who died by suicide in December 2022, with his wife, former Dancing with the Stars pro Allison Holker (also of So You Think You Can Dance). Swipe to see Derek Hough showing his support of Holker and her family, too.
Dewan writes: “Beyond grateful to honor Twitch and his unbelievable legacy.”
Fans of Dewan, tWitch and Holker are moved by the photos and sentiment. As one replied to Dewan: “can’t get through reading this without tears … this is a beautiful tribute and I’m so grateful she has friends like you to help in her healing process.”
Above is a photo of Holker and her eldest child, daughter Weslie.
