Dylan Mulvaney is known for documenting her gender transition on the social media platform TikTok, where she has amassed more than 10 million followers. Her video series, Days of Girlhood, has garnered more than one billion views.
After recently starring in a Bud Lite promotion, Mulvaney has become a target of hatred from right-wing conservatives and MAGA supporting celebrities including Kid Rock, who reacted to the commercial by shooting cans of Bud Lite with a semi-automatic rifle.
Mulvaney continues to talk about her journey and “finding grace for the people who hate us” and “finding joy in the midst of hate” on podcasts including Dear Schuyler (see above) and on Dear Chelsea, with host and standup comedian Chelsea Handler.
With the photo above with Handler, Mulvaney writes: “In high school, my friends and I would sneakily buy Chelsea Handler books and at sleepovers we’d dish over everything we learned from her.”
Mulvaney adds “Flash forward, the season premiere of Dear Chelsea podcast is out today and I’m her guest. Two gals cut from the same cloth.” Handler replied: “The same exact cloth.”
