On the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode ‘Bend the Law,’ while Carisi must tread carefully when Maxwell’s husband becomes a person of interest in an SVU investigation, Benson sends Velasco to take an old friend into custody.
When not playing NYPD Captain Olivia Benson, actress Mariska Hargitay is often doing good off-camera, too. When she was recently honored with The Colleagues Champion of Children Award at the Beverly Hills Hotel, Hargitay stunned in a strapless, ruffle floral print dress by the house of famous fashion designer Oscar de la Renta.
Hargitay’s fans and famous friends are going wild over her red carpet look. Fellow actress Rhea Seehorn (Better Call Saul) replied: “Congratulations!!! & Love, love, love this dress on you!!!”
Swipe to see Hargitay reunite with her favorite schoolteacher “and one of my most important mentors,” Sister Margaret from Marymount High School. Hargitay said the reunion was a surprise and was “too good to be true!”
One fan replied to Hargitay: “Who ever was instrumental in getting Sister Margaret there to surprise you is the most awesome human. What a beautiful gesture.”
Law & Order: Special Victims Unit airs Thursdays at 9 pm ET on NBC, right after Law & Order at 8 pm and right before Law & Order: Organized Crime starring Christopher Meloni at 10 pm.
