On this Easter Sunday, CBS will air A Grammy® Salute to the Beach Boys, a one-hour star-studded tribute concert honoring the award-winning group. A diverse lineup of celebrity musicians will perform Beach Boys songs on stage including Common, Beck, LeAnn Rimes, St. Vincent, and the country music group Little Big Town, among others.
Little Big Town — which is composed of four founding members Jimi Westbook, Kimberly Schlapman, Karen Fairchild, and Phillip Sweet — will perform the 1965 Beach Boys hit ‘Help Me, Rhonda’ from their album The Beach Boys Today!
Brian Wilson wrote ‘Help Me, Rhonda’ with additional lyrics by Mike Love. The song is about a man who begs a woman named Rhonda to help him get over another woman who fell for another man.
For the televised performance, Little Big Town’s Schlapman rocks a strapless skintight sequin jumpsuit with platform stilettos; Fairchild wears a black tight bodysuit with a hot pink mini skirt and thigh-high stiletto boots.
For the record, the men — Westbrook and Sweet — look glam and great too.
