On September 20, billionaire fashion and jewelry designer and CEO Kendra Scott (Kendra Scott LLC) wakes up an author. She is the author of Born to Shine: Do Good, Find Joy, and Build a Life You Love.
To help promote the book, Scott is giving away “free sunnies” — pairs of aviator sunglasses — in her and her dog Duke’s favorite color (see cute photo above). The company writes: “You can even snag a pair of these FREE sunnies in Kendra (and Duke’s!) favorite color!”
She adds: “We’re going to be celebrating with fun surprises in all of our stores.” There are more than 100 Kendra Scott stores in the U.S.
Scott, who has appeared on Shark Tank as a guest Shark investor, is talking about her achievement on talk shows including CBS Mornings.
For her TV appearance, you can count on the female executive to wear her signature color with fellow guests — former Beatle Ringo Starr; Dr. Ken Duckworth, author of “You Are Not Alone”; and “Bros” actor and producer Billy Eichner and Judd Apatow.
