It’s a known tradition for celebrities to get dolled up for the annual MET Gala in New York City and professional athletes are no exception to the rule. Olympic gold medalist and World Cup champion soccer player Megan Rapinoe stunned in a custom fitted red suit with a blue and white stars blouse…
… while Hollywood movie star Sharon Stone (Basic Instinct, Casino) rocked a full-length gown and cape by Thom Browne.
But after making their dramatic red carpet appearances, the two celebrities changed into more comfortable clothes as seen in the group photo below. Sharon cleverly captioned it: “I MET some friends at the gala and after partied w them.” One fan noticed Sharon was “still rocking the earrings” she wore with her formal gown. Megan opted for a white t-shirt and jeans!
