The protagonist of the Lifetime movie Murder in the Suburbs (originally titled Secrets at the Lake) is Amy Pruitt (Nicky Whelan). She and her teen kids Katie (Alexandria DeBerry) and Luke (Ricky Garcia) return to the lakefront community of Whispering Pines for their vacation. This year, they rent a house owned by Megan Myers (Anna Hutchison).
Megan reveals to Amy that her husband and children were killed in a car accident last year. Turns out, Amy’s daughter was in the car that caused the crash and now Megan is seeking revenge! See trailer below.
One day before Murder in the Suburbs premieres on Lifetime Movie Network (Tuesday, March 17 at 8 pm), the gorgeous Nicky Whelan reassured her fans that she’s in a “safe place” and captioned the photo above: “It’s my favorite corner of the couch. Rest. Reflect. Release.” One fan/friend wrote: “Is that the naughty corner of the couch?” and Nicky replied: “yeah!!!!!”
