On the Supergirl Season 5 episode “The Bodyguard,” Lex Luthor (Jon Cryer) gives Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) the responsibility of protecting Andrea Rojas (Julie Gonzalo) from an anti-tech extremist. But Lex’s motive for keeping Andrea alive is nefarious.
When Supergirl hit its 100th episode mark, Benoist shared the on-the-set photo above. She wrote: Tomorrow we hit 100 episodes! That is a lot of television! And a lot of heat vision! A lot of all the visions! And I need more @thomaspatricklennon like I need MORE COWBELL!!!” This season, Lennon plays the recurring role of mischief making Mxyzptlk.
