Beyonce doesn’t just “feed the gram” the way some social superstars do. Indeed Beyonce doesn’t do anything the way most superstars do, which makes her — in the eyes of her legions of fans — something bigger and better, stronger and higher up than the rest.
It’s a tough road to travel for any celebrity, because so many people look up to you and project their own beliefs on you, asking you to be strong so that they can feel strong.

Yet to show how hard it is to please everyone, this photo actually lost Beyonce a fan who decided to unfollow the Queen because of what the fan believes is too much vanity from the star. (One wonders: has the fan spent much time on Instagram? Vanity is the coin of the realm there!)
Anyway, Beyonce is used to it. You please 50 million people and displease one and you’re doing pretty well. We only bring it up to show what a difficult position it is to occupy, being someone’s hero. Here’s the full comment from the lost fan:
