For the series finale of Suits, actress Katherine Heigl joined the cast as lawyer Samantha Wheeler. Sam joined the firm when Specter Litt merged with Robert Zane’s firm. Robert (Wendell Pierce) is a father-figure to Sam so when she’s fired from the firm (after Robert’s disbarment) it hurts.
Sam, who was raised in foster care, is also dealing with personal issues as she has begun the search for her biological parents.
In real life, Heigl and her husband of 11 years, singer Josh Kelley (see above) are parents to three kids: two daughters (Naleigh and Adalaide) and son Joshua. The girls were adopted, and Heigl gave birth to Joshua in January 2017.
Heigl recently reposted the bikini pic above from 2018 and confessed to: “sucking it in sooooooo hard I think I permanently pushed my organs into my spine.”
In the photo above, with Naleigh, Heigl shows off her first and only tattoo, which she got at 39 (she’ll turn 41 in November). The tattoo on the side of her torso are lines from the Pulitzer Prize-winning Robert Frost poem, “Nothing Gold Can Stay”: Then leaf subsides to leaf. So Eden sank to grief.
