The star of the new Jeep Cherokee television commercial is Jeremy Renner. The actor/singer demonstrates the versatility of the car by ditching a formal elegant event (and his fancy tuxedo) and driving to a roadside bar. At the bar, wearing a comfortable t-shirt and pair of jeans, he sings his new single “Main Attraction,” which was released on July 10.

As an actor, Renner is best known for his roles as Clint Barton aka Hawkeye in the Marvel Comics movies Avengers: End Game, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. (Renner will star in the Marvel Studios TV series Hawkeye in 2021.)
Renner has been nominated twice for Oscars — for his lead role in the 2010 film The Hurt Locker directed by Kathryn Bigelow, and in his supporting role in the 2011 film The Town starring and directed by Ben Affleck.
