It’s been an amazing year for 26-year-old singer Maelyn Jarmon. After winning The Voice (Season 16) with the help of superstar coach John Legend, the former Broadway performer was invited to sing the national anthem at the 2019 Capitol Fourth celebration on the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol.
Just two days before the Fourth of July, Jarmon’s boyfriend, long-haired singer Johnny Murrell, proposed and she said yes! Swipe right to see Jarmon’s gorgeous engagement ring. Rather than a traditional diamond, her ring features what appears to be a black onyx stone.
