Kylie Jenner did not talk incessantly about her massive wealth to retired baseball superstar (and Jennifer Lopez fiance) Alex Rodriguez during the Met Gala. Now it certainly would have been her right to talk about it — because whether totally “self-made” or not, Kylie’s bank account has the billionaire’s three commas.
But after A-Rod seemed to drop word that Jenner was obsessively chatting up her billionaire status, he backed off with a clarification. A-Rod said basically: oh that’s right it was me talking about your wealth and success, not you.
So A-Rod didn’t quite agree that it was all Game of Thrones talk, as Kylie indicates. But he did issue the classic it wasn’t you, it was me. And he added a wrinkle too, saying it wasn’t just him but him because of his girls — putting his daughters up as a defense. They love Kylie and her products — that’s what started it all.
