In the Lifetime movie Psycho Granny (originally titled Lineage of Lies), young husband and soon-to-be father Brad Kirkpatrick tries to warn his pregnant wife Samantha (Brooke Newton, All My Children) about her estranged grandmother Colleen. Samantha has been grieving the loss of her mother so when Colleen shows up to help Samantha with her pregnancy, she’s elated. When Brad starts to put the pieces together about Colleen and her family history, Granny makes Brad go night-night.
Brad is portrayed by Matthew Lawrence. The former child star is known for his roles in films including Mrs. Doubtfire (Robin Williams’s son Chris), Planes, Trains & Automobiles (Steve Martin’s son Little Neal), and in TV shows including Boy Meets World (Jack Hunter), and Brotherly Love (Matt Roman) with his real-life brothers Joey Lawrence and Andrew Lawrence.
Matthew also appeared on Gimme a Break! with Joey. Fun fact: Matthew is engaged to Dancing with the Stars professional dancer and Mirror Ball Trophy winner Cheryl Burke (see cute photo below). Psycho Granny premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, May 18 at 8 pm.
