Kevin Hart has more projects to promote than there are hours in the day, but the hustle never stops. With Secret Life of Pets 2 about to hit theaters in the UK this month, and then on June 7 in the US, Hart broke out his phone to film a little promo action with co-star Eric Stonestreet. (See video below.)
The Modern Family star loomed large behind Hart on camera and boasted about his 1.5 million Instagram followers. Stonestreet told Hart maybe he could help him out, get him some followers too, and yelled into the camera: “hey, follow Kevin Hart on Instagram.”

Hart’s good humor showed as he gently informed Stonestreet he doesn’t really need his help. Because he already has 74 million followers on Instagram. Seeming desperate to help his friend be a little bit cooler, Hart also gave Stonestreet some advice on social media technique.
“You do this all the time,” Hart said, frustrated with Stonestreet’s mugging for the camera. “You don’t have to look into the camera like that — just be relaxed. It’s just us talking,” Hart advised. Stonestreet wasn’t very good at his lessons on being cool. Hart had to say again: “You don’t have to follow the camera like that!”
