On Season 2 of T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle, the power couple, hip-hop solo artist T.I. aka Tip and Tiny aka Tameka Harris formerly of the girl band Xscape, are back together and living under the same roof. Feeling good about where she is with her husband, Tiny announces that she wants to record solo music as her bedroom alter ego “Ryder.” Tip doesn’t like the idea.

Tiny says she’s been in the studio “non stop, writing and working on new music with a new flavor to put out for my fans. Everyone knows I like to switch it up. But this time I’m really trying to turn up the heat a little bit.”

When T.I. walks in while Tiny is trying on wigs for her alter ego, he voices his disapproval immediately. Tip knows who Ryder is but he’s acting like no one else is supposed to know because that’s what he believes. She made up Ryder “for me,” he says “it all started about 7 or 8 years ago with a black wig.”

Tiny says he’s worried over nothing, “She not going to be naked on stage.” Still, Tip warns her about pivoting from being “classy” to being something “temporary.” Tip doesn’t think it’s necessary and repeats, “Ryder is for me” and points at the camera, “not for you.” T.I. & Tiny: Friends and Family Hustle airs Mondays at 9 pm on VH1, right after Love & Hip Hop Atlanta.
