In the Married to Medicine: Los Angeles episode “Defective Crystal Ball,” Imani Walker hits two brick walls. The first is when her mother gives her some hard truths about her father. “A happy relationship with your biological father — is it not possible,” her mother tells her. Later, at Noelle Reid’s 40th birthday party, Imani tells Jazmin Johnson that she wasn’t insinuating that her husband does anything criminal. She apologizes but Jazmin says she doesn’t feel like the apology is genuine.
The scene gets really heated when Noelle introduces the ladies to her psychic reader, Tahara, and it’s weird when the ladies take part in a psychic reading. No one seems particularly receptive to what the psychic has to say but she continues on. At one point, the psychic declares that she wants to clear the air and picks up a water bottle and sprays something in the air around her.
When the psychic tells Jazmin “You have a lot of shadow around you and your husband, I don’t know if I want to put this on the table,” to which Jazmin says, “Then don’t.” The psychic snaps and yells, “I won’t!” and turns to her friend Noelle and says, “Are these women crazy or what?” Married to Medicine: Los Angeles airs Sundays at 9pm on Bravo.
