NBA superstar LeBron James will make a cameo appearance on the premiere of the new TV obstacle competition, Million Dollar Mile on Wednesday, March 27 (9pm, CBS). He’s an executive producer. Former NFL quarterback Tim Tebow is the face of the show as the host. While the everyday contestants face off against the Defenders, a group of elite OCR (Obstacle Course Racing) athletes and try to win the $1 million prize, play-by-play commentary will be provided by two professionals: ESPN host and reporter Maria Taylor and Matt “Money” Smith.

Matt “Money” Smith is the lead play-by-play announcer for the radio broadcasts of the L.A. Chargers. For the past seven years, he’s been a host on NFL Network’s “Fantasy Live” and is providing TV play-by-play commentary for the recently launched Alliance of American Football. The Pepperdine grad launched his career on the popular “Kevin and Bean Show” on 106.7 KROQ in Los Angeles. Million Dollar Mile airs Wednesdays at 9 pm on CBS, right after Survivor. “This is a well-rounded team. For all the attention being paid to offenses around the NFL, you forget that the Chargers have a balanced football team.”
