On the fourth night of Blind Auditions for Season 16 of The Voice, 29-year-old singer LB Crew delivers a smooth rendition of the Mr. Probz song “Waves.” Returning champion coach Kelly Clarkson is an immediate fan of LB. After he delivers the first line, “My face above the water,” she hits her buzzer before the other three coaches follow suit. Adam Levine, who has made a lot of money with his falsetto, is the first address LB. Adam tells LB that his falsetto could be better and that he’s ready to help him. Kelly Clarkson disagrees and they both talk over each other which has Kelly pretending to take off her earrings, as if she’s ready to physically fight Adam over LB.

Kelly is wearing what appears to be three golden safety pins dangling, hanging one from another. It’s not the first time she’s worn giant gold safety pins on The Voice. When she made her debut on Season 14 in 2017, Kelly wore a giant gold safety pin necklace with a cute leopard print outfit. There are a number of designers who make safety pin jewelry (see link above) including the late great Karl Lagerfeld (available at Bloomingdale’s) and Sydney Evans at Saks Fifth Avenue. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8 pm on NBC.
