In the Last Man Standing episode “The Best Man,” Chuck Larabee (Jonathan Adams) asks Mike (Tim Allen) to officiate a special event. He and his wife Carol want to renew their wedding vows. Mike seeks advice from Reverend Paul (guest star Bill Engvall), and Outdoor Man employee and poker playing friend Joe (Jay Leno) attends the ceremony too. Last Man Standing fans will notice a big change in the character of Carol. She used to be portrayed by Erika Alexander. She is now portrayed by Tisha Campbell.
Alexander last appeared as Carol on Last Man Standing in 2015. Since then she’s landed roles on Oprah Winfrey and Ava Duvernay’s Queen Sugar (LeeAnne), Bosch (Connie Irving), CW’s Blacklightning (Perenna), and in Jordan Peele’s Oscar-winning film Get Out as Detective Latoya, among others. Alexander will appear next on the big screen in the thriller I See You with Oscar-winning actress Helen Hunt.
