In The Neighborhood episode “Welcome to the Yard Sale,” Dave (Max Greenfield) convinces his neighbor Calvin (Cedric the Entertainer) to hold a yard sale. When longtime neighborhood resident Miss Simpson makes a purchase Calvin quickly regrets selling the valuable object. Calvin gets Dave to help him get it back.
Yard sale shopper Miss Simpson on The Neighborhood is portrayed by Marla Gibbs. The 87-year-old actress is known for her roles on Station 19 (Edith), black-ish (Mabel), The Carmichel Show (Francis), The First Family (Grandma Eddy), Martin (Miss Minnie), 227 (Mary), and The Jeffersons (Florence), among others.
