On The Cool Kids episode “Charlie’s Angel,” when Hank (David Alan Grier) tries to host a Shady Meadows closed-circuit TV show he bombs on-air and is quickly replaced by gregarious Sid (Leslie Jordan). While Sid dishes out the latest gossip swirling around the retirement home, Margaret (Vicki Lawrence) helps Charlie (Martin Mull) woo a widow named Kathleen at her bereavement support.
Kathleen is portrayed by actress Lesley Ann Warren. She’s known for her roles In Plain Sight (Jinx Shannon), Desperate Housewives (Sophie Bremmer), Will & Grace (Will’s father’s mistress Tina), Mission: Impossible (Dana Lambert) and in films including Victor Victoria (Norma Cassidy, for which she was nominated for an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress), and Clue (Miss Scarlet, see link above — with Martin Mull!), among others. The Cool Kids airs Fridays at 8:30 pm on FOX, right after Last Man Standing and right before Hell’s Kitchen.
