In the Magnum P.I. episode “Winner Takes All,” Clear Skies Bail Bonds owner Travis Leet (former NFL football player Eddie George) puts the top private investigators and bounty hunters in Oahu on an important job. He needs them to find a man accused of murder who skipped bail. If Leet doesn’t turn him in within 24 hours, he’s on the hook for his bail which is $1.4 million. Whoever brings him in gets $200,000. Magnum (Jay Hernandez) is definitely interested but so are fellow private investigators Luther Gillis (guest star Ken Jeong) and Shane Powell.

Private Investigator Shane Powell is portrayed by NASCAR driver Ryan Blaney. The 27-year-old made his acting debut in the 2017 animated film Cars 3 as Ryan “Inside” Laney. Since then he’s appeared in the movie Logan Lucky starring Channing Tatum, Adam Driver and Daniel Craig (Blaney was a delivery man), and on the TV series Taken (as Special Agent Wood). Note: Logan Lucky is about two brothers who plot a robbery during the Coca-Cola 600 race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. Magnum P.I. airs Sundays at 10 pm on CBS.
