In the Lifetime movie Psycho Mother-in-Law (formerly titled Mad Mom), young and beautiful Amber Vickers (Victoria Diamond) becomes engaged to her prince charming Luke (Matthew Raudsepp). When Amber calls her mother Sharon to share the big news, she also invites her to come and meet her future mother-in-law Jill Jones (Kari Matchett, Covert Affairs). While Sharon is traditional, homely and not shy about sharing her opinion, Jill is modern, beautiful and tactful. Sharon says she’s willing to give her daughter away to Luke but not to his mother — and she means it.
Sharon Vickers is portrayed by Romy Rosemont. She’s known for her roles on A Million Little Things (Shelley), Secrets and Lies (Belinda Peterson), American Crime Story (Jill Shively), Scandal (Patty Snell), Silicon Valley (Molly Kendall), Glee (Carole Hudson-Hummel), The Fosters (Amanda Rogers), and CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (Jacqui Franco), and in the 2012 film The Avengers as Shawna Lynde, among many others.
