On Season 1 of Love & Hip Hop: Miami, celebrity stylist Jojo Zarur went through a lot of tissue boxes while she was dragged into her parents’ divorce. Her father, Mexican millionaire Jose Antonio Zarur Menez, told Jojo that he wanted her to become his heiress, to take over his business. But she felt like if she did that, she would be taking sides, leaving her mom Faride Nemer on the sidelines.
On Season 2 of LHH: Miami, it looks like that’s water under the bridge. Jojo is pursuing her celeb styling career with the financial assistance of her father and hanging with her mom. On the episode “Family Matters,” together Jojo and her gorgeous mom Faride are guests on Jessie Woo’s podcast.
A lot has happened since the divorce. Faride, the stunning 49-year-old real estate agent of Lebanese descent, is now engaged to Dr. Michael Braun, a sexy doctor (internal medicine, cardiology) who focuses on the importance of fitness and nutrition in his practice in Aventura, Florida. The Harverford College and Temple University School of Medicine graduate has held big positions at Aventura Hospital including Chairman of the Department of Medicine (2009-2014) and Chief of the Division of Cardiology (2004-2008). Love & Hip Hop: Miami airs Wednesdays at 8 pm on VH1.
