The TV movie “The Wrong Teacher: Back to School” is part of Lifetime’s “deadly resolutions” marathon which airs right before New Year’s Eve. The protagonist is this sexy thriller is high school teacher Charlotte Hansen (Jessica Morris, One Life to Live). After having a one-night stand with a younger guy named Chris (Philip McElroy) who she describes as “intelligent with the looks and the body”, she discovers that he’s still in high school. Not only that but he’s also the new kid in her school, and yes, he’s in her class. Charlotte tries to explain to Principal Burns (Vivica A. Fox) and Vice Principal Clark (Oscar nominee Eric Roberts) that she didn’t know Chris was so young but trying to convince them isn’t her biggest problem. Chris is crazy obsessive. Charlotte pleads with Chris, “You need help.”

Dr. Smith is portrayed by Dee Wallace. She’s best known for her roles in the films E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial (the mom, Mary), and the terrifying Cujo (Donna Trenton), Critters (Helen Brown), The Howling (Karen White), and The Hills Have Eyes (Lynne Wood), among many others. The Wrong Teacher: Back to School premieres on Lifetime on Friday, December 28 at 8 pm.
