In the Hallmark movie “Christmas in Love,” Ellie Hartman is a young beautiful woman who works in a famous bakery known for its Christmas Kringles pastries. Her world is rocked when city slicker CEO Nick Carlingson (Daniel Lissing, When Calls the Heart) comes to town. He wants to automate the process of making Christmas Kringles which Ellie is opposed to. Ellie, who is falling for Nick, contends that it’s the people who make the business a success.
Bakery owner Ellie is portrayed by Brooke D’Orsay. The Canadian-born actress is known for her roles on Royal Pains (Paige Collins, see photo below), Two and a Half Men (Kate, SEE LINK ABOVE), Drop Dead Diva (Deb Dobkins), Gary Unmarried (Sasha), 6Teen (Caitlin Cooke), and in the 2004 film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (Clarissa), among others. Christmas in Love premieres on Hallmark Channel on Sunday, November 11 at 8 pm.
