In the Blue Bloods episode “Handcuffs”, Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) orders a raid at a housing complex where cops have been harassed by residents. Against Garrett’s (Gregory Jbara) advice, Frank orders NYPD officers to round up anyone with an outstanding warrant. Meanwhile, Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynihan) has to have an awkward conversation with her daughter Nicky Reagan-Boyle (Sami Gayle). Nicky assumes that her mother is concerned about her new boyfriend Nicky being older — but that’s not it. Erin has to break the news to Nicky that boyfriend Nicky has ulterior motives. Nicky Papadopoulos is the nephew of a crooked real estate developer with deep ties to the mob, who just happens to be the target of Erin’s current investigation. She goes to trial in less than a month.
Nicholas “Nicky” Papadopoulos on Blue Bloods is portrayed by Dan Amboyer. The Carnegie Mellon University graduate is known for his roles on The Blacklist: Redemption (Trevor/ Dan Pool), Younger (Chad Weber/Thad Steadman), and in the 2011 TV movie William & Catherine: A Royal Romance (as Prince William of Wales), among others.
