Bravo’s new scripted series Dirty John tells the real life story of Debra Newell (Connie Britton, Nashville). The four-time divorcee fell hard for handsome and charming (and unbeknownst to her at the time ex-con) John Meehan (Eric Bana, The Time Traveler’s Wife). They rushed into marriage (after just two months of dating), which did not sit well with Debra’s daughters, Veronica and Terra (Julia Garner), who didn’t trust Meehan. Their instincts were right. As told by Los Angeles Times reporter Christopher Goffard, who created the popular podcast “Dirty John,” Meehan tried to kill Terra in a parking lot with a knife. (Terra fought back and stabbed Meehan to death.)

Debra’s daughter Veronica is portrayed by Juno Temple. The English-born actress is known for her roles in HBO series Vinyl (Jamie Vine) and in the films Wonderwheel with Kate Winslet and Justin Timberlake (see photo below), Black Mass (Deborah Hussey), Sin City: A Dame to Kill For (Sally), Maleficent (Thistletwit), The Dark Knight Rises (Jen), The Other Boleyn Girl with Eric Bana (Jane Parker), Atonement (Lola Quincey) and Notes on a Scandal (Polly Hart), among others. Dirty John airs Sundays at 10 pm on Bravo, right after The Real Housewives of Orange County.
Another aspect that i loved about #Wonderwheel was #lighting mainly a dating scene between Juno Temple & Justin Timberlake. It was a perfect blue. Mirelle Underwood wherever you are, you did good. Bravo! 👏#movie #film pic.twitter.com/tpP0iYZNat
