The Lifetime movie A Very Nutty Christmas really does live up to its name. It’s nutty and it’s about Christmas. The owner of Dancing Flours bakery, Kate Holiday (Melissa Joan Hart, Sabrina, the Teenage Witch), is in a pinch before the holidays. She’s lost her Christmas spirit right when she needs it most. Days before Christmas, her boyfriend broke up with her and now she’s not really motivated to bake the 15,000 cookies she needs in order to fill her orders. Luckily, her Christmas nutcracker comes to life (Barry Watson, 7th Heaven) and helps out in the kitchen, right next to Rosa.

Rosa is portrayed by Marissa Jaret Winokur. She’s best known for her Tony Award-winning role as Tracy Turnblad in the Broadway production of John Water’s Hairspray. She’s also recognized for her TV roles on Stacked with Pamela Anderson (Katrina) and Melissa & Joey (Theresa), and for winning the premiere season of Celebrity Big Brother. Fun fact: Winokur is from a famous Hollywood family. A Very Nutty Christmas premieres on Lifetime on Friday, November 30 at 8 pm.
