On the Single Parents episode “Lettuce,” single dad Will Cooper (Taran Killam) hits it off with Angie (Leighton Meester) and Graham’s (Tyler Wladis) pediatrician, Dr. Dewan. But Angie worries he’ll ruin Graham’s chances of getting on the Mist List for the flu vaccine. Miggy (Jake Choi) tries to help Will by giving dating advice.
Pediatrician Dr. Dewan is portrayed by Hannah Simone. The English-born actress is best known for her roles as Cece Parekh on New Girl (see link above). Simone will star next in the TV movie The Greatest American Hero – the reboot of the 1980s TV show features a female protagonist, Meera, whom Simone will play. Her co-star is George Wendt (Norm from Cheers). Single Parents airs Wednesdays at 9:30 pm on ABC, right after Modern Family and right before A Million Little Things.
