In the Teen Mom episode “Welcome to the Family,” Maci Bookout’s husband Taylor McKinney gets a disturbing phone call from Maci’s ex, Ryan Edwards. The call was provoked by Taylor who mocked Ryan on Twitter. Ryan wrote that Ryan is a “30 year old who still needs his a—wiped.” With the cameras rolling, Taylor tells Maci that Ryan called him “in a fit of rage.” According to Taylor, Ryan said he’s going to show up at his house (where Maci and their son Bentley live) and “put a bullet through my head.” Maci sighs and says, “Oh my god, that is absolutely not okay.” Maci says the threat is “serious” as he “definitely owns guns.”
Maci suggest that they call the cops, to have a record of it, and to find out what their options are. Maci and Taylor are also parents to Maverick, 2, and Jayde, 3. Teen Mom airs Mondays at 9pm on MTV.
