In The Big Bang Theory episode “The Imitation Perturbation,” it’s Halloween and everyone’s having fun getting dressed up and showing up at work in their costumes. Well, everyone but Sheldon (Jim Parsons). When he realizes Wolowitz (Simon Helberg) is dressed up as Sheldon (Flash t-shirt included), and Dr. Graybel confuses Wolowitz for Sheldon, Sheldon seeks retaliation at Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny’s (Kaley Cuoco) Halloween party.
Dr. Graybel is portrayed by David Theune. The comedian has appeared on dozens of TV shows including Young Sheldon (as a scientist), but he’s perhaps best known for his role as Darryl in the 2017 Netflix film Michael Bolton’s Big, Sexy Valentine’s Day Special. The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8 pm on CBS, right before Young Sheldon.
