The 24 To Life episode “Dangerous Games” tells the story of Junipher Sayers. The 34-year-old from Cape Coral, Florida was an accounts payable clerk when she stole money from her employer Legacy Education Alliance (which is owned by Tigrent, Inc.) by submitting and processing fraudulent invoices for payment. Legacy Education Alliance includes Rich Dad Education, a curriculum based on the teachings of Robert Kiyosaki’s New York Times bestseller Rich Dad, Poor Dad. Over a two-year span of time (2013-2015), Sayers funneled the money into several shell companies which she created.

In 2016, Sayers pled guilty to three federal counts of wire fraud and was sentenced to three years in federal prison. She was also ordered to repay $1,132,160 to Tigrent, and an additional $1,132,160 to the U.S. in forfeiture. 24 To Life airs Mondays at 10pm on Lifetime.
